Draft Design Portfolio July 2026
← homeWelcome! I led the industrial design of these JLab projects from market research through ideation, early mockups, CAD, CMF, rendering, and packaging design in 2021–2026. Our domestic product team led by my boss Reed Crawford gave invaluable guidance and feedback, supplier engineering teams did much of the DFM and EE work, and Trent Haaland did most of the product photography. The apps I designed on my own, with specification and testing help from Chris Jenkins.
Happy to talk about any of these projects in more detail, thanks for taking a look!

Earlier work — Design Integrity, 2018–2021
Consultancy work involving research, sketching, and physical prototypes. More detail in the 2021 portfolio PDF.
Outdoor Court Tile — Sport Court
A modular outdoor court tile with a subtle surface pattern. Sketches and laser-cut prototypes helped narrow the concepts to three finalists.
Powered Cart Controls — Cannon Equipment
Controls for a motorized warehouse cart, developed with physical mockups and tested on the carts.
Pump Consolidation — Warren-Rupp
A shared pump body for two merging brands, designed to reduce parts and simplify maintenance while keeping each brand recognizable.
Precision Vaporizer — Alleviate Labs
A vaporizer designed to deliver adjustable doses. Peter Muller led the design; I contributed sketches, CAD, and renders.
Ant Bait Pipeline — Spectrum Brands
A study to identify five years of new ant-bait products. We reviewed store shelves and how people use ant bait, developed 13 concept areas, and tested seven with users. One result was a bait station designed to blend into a baseboard. The design patent came directly from one of my ideas in this project.
